The Athlete
Not only is Tyson a 5x Grand Slam Champion but he is also a 4x National Champion. A former 5.5 ranked tennis player turned pickleball star, Tyson is currently competing as an athlete with the Professional Pickleball Association and Major League Pickleball. He is consistently ranked in the top ten in all three divisions in which he competes (Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles).
The Dad
Tyson is all about spending time with his #1 fans. He is married to the love of his life, Megan McGuffin and together, they have four beautiful children: Skyler, Ty, Banks, and Mac, all of whom have him wrapped around their little fingers. Tyson enjoys spending time with his family, going on hikes, working out, vacationing, spending time at the lake, and working the dance floor at music festivals. They live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
The Teacher
When Tyson isn’t playing in tournaments, he often returns to his love of teaching the game. McGuffin serves as an IPTPA and PPR certified coach teaching through his personal business ventures: McGuffin Signature PB Camps and TM PB Coaching. Tyson has a true passion for teaching and loves watching each player's individual development, no matter their level.

I’ve joined forces with RPPk and DUPR to create an elite certification program designed for those who dare to lead and inspire. Applications are now open — we will select 60 extraordinary individuals for our World Tour Integral Course, which will certify you to challenge the boundaries of conventional coaching.
